Electricity Usage is measured in kilowatt hours (kWh) i.e. 1 unit = 1kWh
Your Monthly Bill consists of the Basic Rate (either Residential, Commerical, General Service, or Temporary) and the Fuel Charge.
The Basic Rate presently does not account for fuel costs. However, the Fuel Charge is a variable rate which covers all of the costs associated with fuel. It replaces the Fuel Surcharge that was previously a part of your monthly bill.
